The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James George Ellis Jr. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I am so sorry and I am at a loss for words. I met Jim at our Vet Life meetings and this still has not sunk in that he is gone. You will be missed Jim and you are now with the Lord and I send my prayers to your family and friends. God Bless, Jim and your family. You won't be forgotten my friend.

Condolence: I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Jim as well as a lot of people, but that was ok with Jim. Anytime I would see him at church or most recent at a testing night st karate, Jim would always begin the conversation with How ya doing Brother. He was the type that you could feel the genuine care and concern he had for you. Jim was always quick to ask me how I was doing, as I have battled severe back issues for years and he most certainly could relate. He would finish the conversation by telling me that he is praying for me, and I truly believe he did. To Lisa and the kids, my prayers are now with you. Y’all are a very special family, thanks for sharing Jim with us.

Condolence: I carry a heavy heart with the loss of my favorite cousin. I will truly miss our phone calls and texting to stay in touch. No matter what kind of a day he was having, he always made me feel special. I’ve always been so proud of Jim. He loved Jesus with all of his being and inspired us all. I will dearly hold on to all the great memories we shared growing up and look forward to reuniting with him someday. Love you cuz.

Condolence: I am very saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. Over fourteen years ago I walked into Community Fellowship at the storage units. One of the first people who greated my children and I was Jim saying “It’s great to see me today! Welcome!” That was Jim, he always had a smile on his face and could always put a smile on others too!
Lisa, I’m praying for peace for you and the kids. Your entire family has always been such a blessing to mine. We wish we could be there Saturday but please know that our love is surrounding you!

Condolence: It has been a joy and an honor to know and love Jim. The fruits in his life are a testament to his love of God and being a follower of Jesus. His contributions to his country, family, and friends are too numerous to mention. He was a selfless, generous, hard-working man who lived every day to serve others. He led by example and was one of the most humble men I have ever met. I am sorry that this world has lost Jim so soon but am grateful that he is with his Creator and that I will see him again.
