Mr. Jerry Lamar Jones 65 of Powder Springs , GA made his transition from this life on Friday May 6, 2016, He was born on July 21, 1950 to the late Mr. Earley Lee Jones and Mrs. Lois Hightower Jones.
Services will be held Wednesday May 11th at 1:00pm Bellamy Chapel Hiram. Bishop James P Waters officiating with interment at Paulding Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be Tuesday 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
After graduating from Hiram High School he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Jerry enjoyed fishing, cooking, singing and playing his bass guitar. On most holidays he could be found in the backyard making music with friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, 1 daughter, Tamaika (Scott) King, 3 sons; Jermaine Jones, Jeffery Jones, and Maurice Monroe, 7 Brothers; Chris, Charles, Daniel (Allene), Timothy, Maurice, Patrick, Carlos, 4 sisters; Cathy, Jennifer (James), Sherrie (Paul), Margaret (Tony), grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His dry humor and wit will be missed by all who knew him.
