David spent his entire career as a truck driver. He was an owner operator and also worked for others. In his lifetime , he helped numerous people in many different ways. If you cared about him or knew him, you have a story about how he touched your lives. He was an avid race car fan and a loyal pit crew member. But most important of all , he was a loving son, a caring parent and grandparent, and a shy , but timid loving brother. He survived being an introvert in an extrovert family very well.
He was so proud of his truck and his Harley. He fought to the very end to be able to ride it again. On good days , he would still sit and spit shine it and long to ride. Because he was saved 5 years ago during a financial counseling session, those of us who are believers, know this is not goodbye, only a see you later. He is now without pain and suffering .
His funeral will be held Saturday Jan 18th at 2 pm (on his mothers 90th birthday) at Bellamy Funeral Home in Hiram . Visitation will begin at 11 am and end at 1:30 pm to allow the immediate family a last private moment before the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in David’s name to the American Cancer Society
