I have had the privilege & honor to have known Miss Sammie for over a decade now. I told her several times I wanted to adopt her as my mother as mine has been passed a long time now. She made you feel that special, such a sweetheart. She will truly be missed by all...she loved her family & spoke of them every time we talked. This beautiful picture of her says it all..she is beaming. Prayers for Mr. Sane and all the family for your loss. God bless.

A sweet and loving friend … always there for you … she was loved by my family … you could always talk to Sammie about anything . She loved my sons as if they were her own … and they really loved her … She will be missed but she has joined her daughters now and I know she and Becky and Jackie are together at last ...

Aunt Sammie was a very special and beautiful lady! Always smiling, trying to lift everyone’s spirits in the toughest times. I used to look forward to taking my grandparents to visit her and Calvin for the weekend. We’d stay up half the night talking and laughing! If I was down- she would not give up till she got me in a good mood and make me laugh by telling me one of her “corny” jokes! She had a heart of gold, and made sure to point the good out in everyone. Love you Sammie! Ann Wade

My grandma loved her babies from her children growing up to her grandchildren who have grown up to now her great grandchildren. She loved them all to the moon and back. She will be very loved and missed by everyone of them
