18 years ago, Mary Beth and I both came to Roberts as counselors. She genuinely cared for her students and was always so gracious and kind to everyone. She strived to go above and beyond for people, and never minded staying late to do what she could to help the students and their families. She was very passionate about holistic medicine and health and was always willing to share her knowledge with me or anyone else who asked. She also had a great sense of humor! Whether she was dressing up and dancing around as the man from the Six Flags commercial at the staff talent show, or laughing about the foil-wrapped apples meticulously arranged on top of her refrigerator, Mary Beth was always a great sport and a great team player. My heart is very heavy from her loss. She will be greatly missed!

Mary Beth was a special person and friend. I am blessed that my life memories and experiences included knowing her. I cannot find the words to express my feelings so I will borrow from someone else. "Now and forever you are a part of me and the memory cuts like a knife. Didn't we find the ecstasy, didn't we share the daylight, when you walked into my life. We had a moment, just one moment that will last beyond a dream, beyond a lifetime. I miss the tears. I miss the laughter. I miss the day we met and all that followed after.... Now and forever I will always think of you." - Peter J Gomez

My Deepest condolences to the Dockery Family. Mary Beth was such an amazingly selfless person who will be missed dearly. She always made our students (and adults) feel safe, comforted, and loved. She will forever be remembered in our hearts. Once a Rocket, always a Rocket.

Myself and the McGarity Elementary Family are saddened by the news of sweet, Mary Beth leaving us. We are thankful for her kind spirit, and how she served the students, staff and families of Paulding. We are praying for her family, both personal and the family of Roberts Elementary.
