Gregory Thad Thomason “Greg”, age 50, passed away on April 25, 2021 at his home in Dallas, GA. Greg was born on January 11, 1971 to Mr. Johnny A. Thomason and his wife Mrs. Sandra H. Thomason. He began working at a young age as a hardworking dedicated employee no matter what profession he was in. He prided himself on his ability to work and believed whole heartedly what his father always preached to him” if you want something in life son, you have to work for it”. This was his motto in life. Throughout his lifetime he worked for over ten years in the Rent-To-Own business in Georgia and Texas before he moved with his family to Avery county North Carolina in 2004. It was then that Greg became a NC Bail Agent and successfully built a bail bonds company that thrived and soared for 15 years before he returned to his birthplace of Dallas, Ga in 2013.

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Thomason, his grandson, Landon Peter Suite, his grandparents and his uncle Bob Holland.

He is survived by his three daughters, Kayla Victoria Thomason-Suite, Jordan Taylor Thomason and Tori Christian Thomason.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Sandra Thomason, his sister, Pamela T. Shutkowski and spouse Matthew Shutkowski, sister, Sherri Thomason Ollis, three grandchildren, Kaylin Suite, Nevaeh Suite and Malachi Suite, one granddaughter on the way, Ruby Childress, nieces, Cierra Ollis, Hannah Ollis, Jennifer Shutkowski, Ashleigh Shutkowski, nephews, Matthew Soley, and Andy Soley, one uncle, Vann Holland (Jan), several cousins, Nancy Calhoun Thomason, Doyle and Grace Calhoun.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 4:00pm at Paulding Memorial Gardens. Interment to follow.
